Since 2013, Fraunhofer IOSB, IEEE and KCM are hosting the international conference on Optical Characterization of Materials in Karlsruhe. Starting within the upcoming conference in March 2019 we will enlarge the program with a special session for master theses. The Session aims to provide a platform for master students to present their work regarding to Optical Characterization of Materials. We invite them to submit a summary of their master thesis to the OCM-2019 conference. The Theses session will give selected students an opportunity to present the gist of their master thesis proposal and obtain constructive feedback from experts in the field.
A professor should support the submission. To be eligible, the Master Thesis shall have been positively qualified later than January 1, 2017. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality extended abstracts of their master thesis (max. two pages), per Email: firstname.lastname@example.org representing original results in all areas of Optical Characterization of Materials.
The final papers are limited to ten pages in single-column format, including figures. All manuscripts will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published by KIT Scientific Publishing in high-quality color print.
For each oral presentation, 20 minutes will be provided for the talk, and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Posters are allowed up to ISO A0 size (portrait orientation).
For each accepted paper one author has to register and present the paper at the conference. Detailed instructions for submissions on the page for Authors
